My First Cruise ... The Final Countdown (2119 hits)
When I made the decision to take this cruise back in February, I thought it would never get here. You mean I have to wait all the way until NOVEMBER? I sighed and said oh well, I guess I can wait. Suddenly, it's November, and just over a week from the sail date. I am excited. In fact, I am so excited that I spend my time at work shopping for new outfits, bathing suits and shoes. Of course I still get my work done as I want to have a job when I return from the Caribbean, but I have cruising on my mind. I am excited, nervous, anxious, pumped up, etc. I'm kind of a ball of ajl;uoie qiopv right now about this whole experience. I am worried that I won't have enough clothes. What if I get seasick? What if I get lost???? But I think my excitement outweighs my fear. I am definitely looking forward to the interaction with other HBCU attendees. I think this is a great way to get together. Of course I have heard about the food. I'm looking forward to that too. Whew!!!!! 9 days. I think I'm ready.
