Will I get sick or seasick? Posted on 10-19-2011

Possibly. Possibly not. Depends on the person. I personally do not get sick on cruises but everyone is not me. For those who happen to get sick, there are infirmaries located on the ship with a fully licensed doctor aboard to take your case and prescribe the necessary medicines. To help prevent sickness, you can do your part by washing your hands frequently and using hand sanitizer lotions.

For seasickness, over-the-counter medication like Dramamine or Bonine can prove useful. If you are very prone to seasickness, ask your doctor before you leave home for the Transderm patch, available by prescription.
