This role provides hands‑on experience in corporate storytelling, employee engagement, and multi‑channel communications—ideal for a creative, motivated communicator eager to contribute to a fast‑paced global team.<br />Inspired by the experiences shared by Vision interns highlighting collaboration, dynamic work, and global storytelling, the intern will gain exposure to cross‑functional teams, corporate programs, and social impact initiatives such as Sight For Kids.</p><p></p><h2><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h2><p></p><h3><b>Content Creation &amp; Storytelling</b></h3><ul><li><p>Draft and edit content for emails, newsletters, intranet articles, leadership messages, and social media.</p></li><li><p>Source “good news” stories by partnering with regional and functional teams; conduct interviews and gather testimonials.</p></li><li><p>Support production of multimedia assets, including presentations, graphics, videos, and podcasts (e.g., similar to Vision R&amp;D podcast projects referenced in intern showcases).</p></li></ul><p></p><h3><b>Employee Communications &amp; Engagement</b></h3><ul><li><p>Contribute to communications strategies that connect our diverse, global workforce—especially employees working in office, hybrid, and manufacturing contexts.</p></li><li><p>Help plan and promote internal events, campaigns, and global awareness initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Monitor employee feedback and engagement metrics to shape future communications.</p></li></ul><h3><b>Global Programs &amp; Strategic Support</b></h3><ul><li><p>Assist in projects aligned to Global Vision Communications pillars such as brand reputation, innovation storytelling, and culture activation</p></li><li><p>Support cross‑regional collaboration, including APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and North America activities.</p></li><li><p>Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and cross‑functional working groups.</p></li></ul><p></p><h3><b>Research &amp; Insights</b></h3><ul><li><p>Conduct research on communication trends, tools, technologies, and best practices.</p></li><li><p>Benchmark industry storytelling approaches and identify opportunities to enhance our communication channels.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b>Required Qualifications</b></h2><ul><li><p>Pursuing or completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Media Studies, or related field.</p></li><li><p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across diverse global teams.</p></li><li><p>Creative mindset with an interest in storytelling and digital communications.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b>Preferred Skills</b></h2><ul><li><p>Experience with graphic design, video editing, or content management tools.</p></li><li><p>Comfort working in fast‑paced, matrixed environments.</p></li><li><p>Interest in healthcare, innovation, or global social impact programs</p></li></ul><h2><b>What You’ll Gain</b></h2><ul><li><p>Hands‑on experience contributing to global corporate communications.</p></li><li><p>Exposure to senior leaders and cross‑sector collaboration</p></li><li><p>Development of storytelling, project management, and digital communication skills.</p></li><li><p>The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on employee experience and global brand reputation.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.<span>  </span>Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.</p><p><span> </span></p><p>Johnson &amp; Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
