Manager, Pharmacy Operations - Oncology
What Pharmacy Operations contributes to Cardinal Health: Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers. Pharmacy Operations is responsible for strategic leadership direction, account management, and fiscal performance for assigned customers. Responsible for long-term relationship building and managing the success of the relationships with customers in order to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and Cardinal Health. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- 8-12 years of pharmacy experience, preferred
- PharmD or MBA, preferred
- 5+ years community oncology experience, preferred
Responsibilities - Support Navista practices specific to infusion operations and Medically Integrated Dispensing (MID) strategy.
- Strong communication skills and understanding of GPO contracts and their execution
- Create clinical comparisons for Navista Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee
- Keep up to date with new drug approvals, indications, and novel therapies in oncology
- Efficient user of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
