Regular or Temporary: RegularLanguage Fluency: English (Required) Work Shift: 1st shift (United States of America)Please review the following job description:The Capital Markets Analyst will support the growth of the firms CMBS Master Servicing platform, with a primary focus on responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and bid processes for Single Asset Single Borrower (SASB) and Conduit CMBS transactions. This role sits at the intersection of capital markets, servicing operations, and business development, requiring a strong understanding of CMBS structures, master servicing economics, and issuer expectations. The position will work closely with senior capital markets professionals, servicing leadership, and operations teams to prepare competitive, accurate, and compelling RFP responses and servicing proposals. Key Responsibilities CMBS RFP & Proposal Execution: - Lead and support preparation of RFP responses and servicing proposals for SASB and Conduit CMBS master servicing opportunities.
- Coordinate internal inputs across capital markets, servicing operations, legal, and treasury to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Customize responses to issuer- and deal-specific requirements, including servicing scope, advancing, cash management, reporting, and sub-servicer oversight (where applicable).
- Maintain and continuously improve standardized RFP language, data tables, and supporting materials.
Master Servicing Economics & Deal Analysis: - Conduct preliminary review of RFPs to assess alignment between deallevel specifics and the firms business objectives.
- Assist in analyzing master servicing fee structures, deposit economics, advancing income, and ancillary fee opportunities for proposed transactions.
- Support MSR valuation and bid analysis for conduit CMBS transactions, including review of deal terms and servicing assumptions.
- Prepare internal deal summaries and economic comparisons to support bid strategy and pricing decisions.
- Responsible for post-closing MSR valuation analysis.
Capital Markets & Issuer Support: - Work with senior team members to support issuer relationships and respond to follow-up questions during RFP and bid processes.
- Assist in preparing marketing materials, pitch decks, and servicing capability presentations for issuers, underwriters, and investors.
- Track market activity, RFP pipelines, and competitive dynamics within the CMBS master servicing landscape.
Data, Process & Reporting: - Maintain internal tracking of RFPs, bids, win/loss outcomes, and servicing assignments.
- Support refinement of internal processes related to RFP execution, data management, and document control.
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure RFP representations align with actual servicing capabilities and processes.
Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 24 years of experience in commercial real estate, capital markets, CMBS, structured finance, or mortgage servicing.
- Working knowledge of CMBS structures, with familiarity across SASB and conduit transactions.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to draft clear, professional, and persuasive proposal responses.
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to build new client partnerships, maintain existing relationships, and remain calm and effective during challenging conversations.
- Effective crossdepartmental collaborator with a strong ability to build and sustain internal client relationships.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred: - Experience with CMBS servicing, master servicing, or structured finance RFPs.
- Understanding of master servicing economics, including servicing fees, deposits, advancing, and ancillary income.
- Prior exposure to MSR valuation, deal modeling, or capital markets analytics.
- Experience working cross-functionally with operations, legal, and business development teams.
- Prior experience with QRM software a plus.
