Sr. Scrum Master

Work you'll do/Responsibilities
Our client has embarked on several strategic transformational initiatives that will ultimately require upgrading and modernizing its technology capabilities, increasing demand for technology capacity and new skills. In addition, our client is experiencing growing capacity demands for run-the-firm (RTF) initiatives. While our client seeks to benefit from emerging technologies that require new and differentiated skill sets, the market supply of technology talent remains constrained and competition for skilled professionals is at an all-time high.
Supporting estimation: coaching teams on estimating capabilities and features.
Preparing ART events: driving readiness for PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt.
Improving flow across the org: partnering with stakeholders and other Scrum Masters to strengthen the development value stream.
Enabling SAFe adoption: coaching stakeholders and non-Agile teams on working effectively with Agile teams.
Coordinating across teams: representing the team in Scrum of Scrums and improving cross-team communication (while reinforcing it's a shared team responsibility).
Boosting team health and performance: building self-management, improving dynamics, and helping resolve conflicts; escalating when needed.
Strengthening technical discipline: fostering quality, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.
Removing impediments: clearing blockers-especially those outside the team's control-to improve iteration outcomes.
Supporting Product Owners: helping with effective backlog management.

Qualifications
Required
7+ years of overall Scrum Master/Project management experience
7+ years of extensive work experience in SAFe environment as Scrum master
7+ years of experience leading and delivery of multiple teams
7+ years of experience coaching multiple teams on SAFe Agile
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred
SAFE Agile/Scrum certifications
PMP certifications
Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities
Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
Excellent Written and Communication Skills
Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
